Ivan’s Need
Animated Short

In my graduation year at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts I teamed up with Veronica and Manuela to make an animated short.

It all started with Veronica’s sketches of a young baker and a woman who wears her elongated breasts like a scarf around her neck. The three of us sat together for weeks to think about a story around them. It was funny, unrestrained and sometimes loud. In the end we had something like this:

Ivan loves the softness of the dough but hates how the baked bread is hard and rough. He kneads himself into erotic daydreams. Which become more and more explicit when he meets Alva and her long, elastic breasts. His goal becomes clear. He wants to touch those breasts. Unfortunately there is Horst in the way. Horst is the master baker, and quite the opposite of Ivan. He is a frigid guy,whose only purpose is to get Ivan back to work. When he is finally out of the way there is nothing that could stop Ivan.
